Korra isn’t doing anything too distracting, looking through the produce at a market; observing the freshness of cabbages when she feels a tug on the back of her shirt, causing her to turn and look down.

She’s in the small market anyway, so the idea to buy the child a blanket or coat becomes her next mission.
❝ What do you say to come shopping with me and I’ll buy you a big warm blanket okay? ❞
The purple-eyed child looked down but nodded when the older woman offered to buy one. Since her clothes weren’t exactly the warmest she started to shiver again. Her feet were dirty and obviously turning a bit blue. “O-ok.”
Korra holds out her hand to the child, offering something for her to hold onto. She notices how the child is poorly dressed and Korra finds it highly unsettling in conditions like these; she’s used to the snow and the ice but it still affects her so she only imagines the cold this child feels right now.
